Danax († probably 1st century in Vlora ) was a legendary Christian martyr and saint .

According to legend, Danax, a Christian in the Illyrian Valona, ​​today's Vlora, is said to have refused to sacrifice to Bacchus and to deliver Christian cult vessels. He was then beheaded.

Danax is venerated as a saint, his feast day is January 16 .
