Daniel Gardener

Daniel Gärtner (born December 14, 1975 in Erfurt ) is a German bobsleigh driver .

Daniel Gärtner, police officer starting for the RSG Hochsauerland , came to bobsleigh in 1994. He was initially a push in Matthias Höpfner's bobsleigh , and later with Karl Angerer . His greatest success in the senior category was winning the German championship title in 2003 in the Höpfner four-man bobsleigh. In 2005 he was runner-up and in 2006 third. From 1998 to 2000 he sat in the four-man bobsleigh, which won the German junior championship, for three years in a row. He was junior world champion in 1997 and 2002, second in 1999 and third in 1998 and 2000. At the Senior World Championships he was eighth in 2003 and fifth at the 2005 European Championships, both in the four-man bobsleigh.
