Daniel McConnell (born August 9, 1985 in Bruthen ) is an Australian mountain bike and road cyclist .

Daniel McConnell was seven times Oceanian champion in mountain bike sport between 2007 and 2015, including six times in the discipline of cross country , and four times Oceania champion in cross country. In 2006 and 2007 he drove on the road for the UCI Continental Team Southaustralia.com-AIS and in 2015 for the UCI WorldTeam Trek Factory Racing , without achieving international success.

His mother, Jennifer Orr, was a successful middle-distance runner.
