Daniel Silva (2013)

Daniel Silva (born December 19, 1960 ) is an American author and former top journalist for CNN . He was a foreign correspondent and worked for a long time in the Middle East, Egypt and the Persian Gulf.

life and work

Silva made her debut in 1997 with the novel The Unlikely Spy , a novel about love and deceit surrounding the Allied invasion of France in World War II. His second and third novels, The Mark of the Assassin and The Marching Season , were on the New York Times bestseller list . These two novels are about the CIA officer Michael Osbourne and the KGB man Jean-Paul Delaroche. In his fourth novel, The Kill Artist , Silva introduces a new character, the art restorer and Israeli secret agent Gabriel Allon. Gabriel Allon is also the protagonist in his other novels.

Silva is married to NBC correspondent Jamie Gangel. They have two children together.
