Daniel Sodenkamp

Daniel Sodenkamp (born April 18, 1967 in Dortmund ) is a German politician (formerly FDP ).

Life

Daniel Sodenkamp was born in 1967. He has a degree in psychology and is a doctor of philosophy. In addition, has trained in the banking and insurance industry.

Political party

Daniel Sodenkamp joined the FDP in 1987. From 1988 to 1990 he was a member of the district board of the FDP Dortmund. After that he let his political engagement rest for 10 years in order to devote himself to his studies and his doctorate. From 1999 Sodenkamp began to work again in the FDP. From 2000 to 2002 he was deputy, from 2002 to October 2006 he was district chairman of the FDP in the Ennepe-Ruhr district . From 2003 to May 2006 he was a member of the state board of the FDP NRW. In 2010 Daniel Sodenkamp announced his exit from the FDP.

Sodenkamp is now active in the Alternative for Germany party.

Public offices

At the assembly of delegates in December 1999 for the NRW state elections in 2000, Daniel Sodenkamp reached number 25 on the list. In the subsequent state elections in May 2000, 24 members of the FDP moved in. On June 6, 2003 Daniel Sodenkamp replaced the deceased Jürgen W. Möllemann as a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . There he was a member of the Sports Committee , Committee for Children, Youth and Family and the Petitions Committee .

In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2005 , he was unable to move into the state parliament again due to the significantly worse election result of his party (6.4% after 9.8%) on the list. With him 12 of the 24 FDP members left the state parliament.
