Daniel Yohannes (born September 22, 1952 in Addis Ababa ) is an Ethiopian-American businessman and philanthropist. In addition to many other non-professional activities, he is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), which is responsible for the allocation of funds from the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) development aid fund founded in 2009 . He was appointed to this post by US President Barack Obama on September 18, 2009.
