Dansk Sociologiforening

The Dansk Sociologiforening is the scientific association of Danish sociologists . It was founded in 1969 and replaced the Danish Sociological Society ( Dansk Sociologisk Selskab ), which was established in 1958. It is a member of the Nordic Sociological Association , the European Sociological Association (ESA) and the International Sociological Association (ISA). Until 2015 the association was called Dansk Sociologforening .

The association has almost 700 members, the current president (as of 2018) is Anna Ilsøe ( University of Copenhagen ).
