Danuta Dworakowska

Danuta Dworakowska-Jedrzejczak (also Danuta Dworakowski ; * 1928 ) is a Polish pianist and music teacher.

Dworakowska played the piano from the age of seven and was a scleress for Maria Wiłkomirska , Zbigniew Drzewiecki and Henryk Sztompka . She took part in the Fyderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw and won the gold medal at the International Piano Competition in Geneva. For several years she worked as a lecturer at the Warsaw Music Academy . She has appeared on concert tours in almost all European countries. She recorded compositions by Fryderyk Chopin and Ignacy Jan Paderewski, among others . She lives in the USA.
