The program was initially moderated by Walter Becker , who moderated 407 issues until January 5, 1984. Hubert Schmidt-Gigo was co-moderator until 1964 . Later the Lieutenant Colonel of the People's Police , Rolf-Dieter Saternus, who wore uniform during the moderation, took over.

The editors of the 1980s had the task of pointing out dangers in traffic and providing information on the subject of automobiles. Topics on the road traffic regulations and quiz questions such as the question “What was wrong?” After a cyclist with walkman headphones had ridden through the picture were also included.

The individual programs were usually shot for two weeks. This was followed by a one to two week cut and the mandatory acceptance. Overall, the topics were really topical, as the lead time was limited to five weeks.
