chronology
- First cycle
Sioban is the daughter of Loup Blanc , King of the Sudenne. The young princess lost her father during the Battle of Nyr Lynch, in which he was killed by the magician Bedlam. She has since hated Bedlam and her uncle, Lord Blackmore. Lord Blackmore is obliged to protect her after he married Lady O'Mara, widow of his brother and mother of Sioban.
- Second cycle
The story takes place before the first cycle. It is about Seamus, who is not yet a knight of forgiveness , but only a novice. He helps the Sudennen in their fight against evil and serves Sill Valt, a prominent member of the Knights of Forgiveness . The mandate is to eliminate the demons of the land (which is actually an island) and especially moriganes (first generation witches who are extremely dangerous and powerful) in order to restore the trust and hope of the people of the land.
- Third cycle
The third and probably last cycle leads to the origins of the island and witches.
