Continuous shower

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Continuous shower is a medicinal natural medicine application to promote excretion through the skin. It is applied over a longer period of time (up to an hour or longer if prescribed by a doctor) with water that is about body temperature.

There are two forms of application:

  1. under a movable shower head that can be moved back and forth between the neck and feet of the lying patient over his body or
  2. inside a hood that completely envelops the lying body and is equipped with several fixed water jet nozzles.

Permanent shower is offered by spa houses set up for this purpose.
