David James (* around 1972 ) is a South African actor .

Life

David James grew up in Paarl .

James gained international fame in 2009 for his role as Colonel Koobus Venter in the science fiction film District 9 . He previously appeared in an episode of the Isidingo series in 2005 . Since District 9 there have been appearances in more than a dozen film and television productions.
