Link became known through authentic reconstructions of old computer technology, especially random love poetry from the Manchester University Computer from 1951, one of the earliest computers in the world. Link thus plays with the ambivalence of the Turing thesis that poetic fantasy is algorithmically constituted if it is impossible to distinguish between the output of a computer on the one hand and a human poet on the other.
