David Todd Courtwright

David Todd Courtwright (born April 10, 1952 in Kansas City ) is an American historian .

Life

He earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Kansas in 1974 and a Doctor of Philosophy in history from Rice University in 1979. He teaches as an assistant professor (1979–1985) and associate professor (1985–1988) of history at the University of Hartford and since 1988 as professor of history at the University of North Florida .
