David and Lucile Packard Foundation

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation is a 1964 by David Packard (co-founder of HP ) and his wife Lucile founded Foundation . It is headquartered in Los Altos , California and had an endowment of US $ 4.2 billion as of March 2009.

The foundation supports non-profit organizations mainly in the areas of: "Conservation and Science, Population, and Children, Families, and Communities".
