The Davies Heights are a 150 m high, 1.5 km long and roughly elliptical shaped plateau on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located in the north-central part of the Fildes Peninsula . The plateau has steep flanks and a wave-shaped elevation that rises 60 m above the surrounding area.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named this formation in 1978 after the British geologist Robert Elwyn Sandel Davies (* 1953) of the British Antarctic Survey , who was active in this area from 1975 to 1976.
