De Familich is a music group that plays folk songs and their own works in Cologne dialect .

history

De Familich was founded in 2005 by Wolfgang Anton, a composer of the Bläck Fööss and other Cologne bands, and Volker Becker. The group expanded with Tanja Krämer and Josef Loup. After the first concerts Heike Siek joined them. In the same year, the repertoire expanded with many compositions by Wolfgang Anton, the line-up varied around the hard core Wolfgang Anton, Josef Loup and Volker Becker.

De Familich has been reported in the local press since 2006, and the Bläck Fööss have supported it ever since. In 2007, the first contacts with the Cologne Carnival and the Loss mer singe movement, popular in Cologne, followed, as well as annual concerts on a Cologne ship on the Rhine. In 2008 the group released the first album Un mer singe all die Leeder on the Rhingtön label of EMI . She also performed in front of a large audience in the Lanxess Arena and organized a series of concerts in the Millowitsch Theater .

In 2009 the maxi CD Mir sin was recorded as a benefit music project for victims and bereaved relatives of the collapse of the Cologne city archive . In 2011 the third album Klein Stöck vun Kölle was released , in 2012 the Willi Ostermann tribute to Kölsche Mädche künne bütze was released as a live concert recording from the Eltzhof.

concept

De Familich plays concerts without background music from keyboards, e-guitars and drums. The group organizes so-called “Cologne Sing-Along Concerts”, at which they sing their songs together with the audience, mostly in Cologne pubs, handing out text booklets.
