De Randgruppe was founded in 2004 as an NDH band, the band consisted of several artists who wanted to remain anonymous. With the song Holzmichel (The Answer) , a parody of Holzmichel from De Randfichten , they were placed in the German charts. The song was in the German charts for nine weeks, the highest ranking was number 45. The song was released on the label Wahnsinn Records . Then they released the song Angela M. (A love song) .
