Deacon Peak is a dormant stratovolcano on Penguin Island . With a height of 170 m (according to other sources 180 m ) it is the highest point on the island. The summit area is occupied by a well-preserved, approximately 350 meter wide crater .
The easy-to-climb mountain is visited by tourists every summer .
