Dead Flowers ("Wilted Flowers") were a psychedelic rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne formed by members of the band Acid . After a debut single released in 1987 and an arrest the following year because of a joke that went wrong with water pistols, the group released three albums with psychedelic rock influenced by the Asian continent and spacey sounds - the guitarist had been in India beforehand .

Members of the group's LP-releasing phase included Ferank Mansees (vocals), Steeve "Baba" Swayumbunath (guitar), Mark McIver (bass) and "The Thing" (drums).
