Decimus Terentius Scaurianus

Decimus Terentius Scaurianus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

By military diplomas that are dated October 14, 109 and 17 February 110, there is evidence that Scaurianus 109-110 governor of the province Dacia was.

Remarks

  1. The soldiers, who were granted Roman citizenship by the diploma of October 14, 109 , had been dismissed from military service by Iulius Sabinus ( dimissis honesta missione a Iulio Sabino ). According to Margaret M. Roxan , Sabinus was either the predecessor of Scaurianus as governor or he was an officer who had been entrusted with the task of dismissing the soldiers. According to Paul Holder , Sabinus was the predecessor of Scaurianus as governor.
