Deep Sea Conservation Coalition
The Deep Sea Conservation Coalition (DSCC), German deep sea protection coalition , represents non-governmental organizations (such as Greenpeace , Conservation International, Friends of the Earth and others) for the protection of global maritime habitats, especially the deep sea .
The main goal of the Amsterdam-based organization is to establish a global and permanent moratorium on the protection of deep-sea waters. The UN General Assembly has so far not responded to the appeal in this regard.
It was founded in 2004.
