Deerfield is a city in Rockingham County in New Hampshire, United States . According to a census from 2010, 4280 people live in the city, which is at least regionally known through the Deerfield Fair .

Deerfield was founded in 1766 and has a public elementary school. It is the birth town of Benjamin Franklin Butler .
