The espresso cup or demitasse ( French demi for "half cup" ) is a cup that is generally used for serving mocha , espresso or Turkish coffee is used.

Depending on the model, it has a capacity of 60 to 90  ml , whereas a normal cup holds around 120 ml. Made from porcelain or ceramics , they are also used in tea services and similar sets. The respective manufacturer or seller often prints a characteristic pattern or logo on the mocha cup so that it can be used as a collector's item. There are models made of glass with a metal frame, especially for tea.
