Democratic Party of British Gibraltar
The Democratic Party of British Gibraltar (DPBG) was a political party in Gibraltar .
It was founded in 1978 and emerged from the dissolved Integration with Britain Party . Maurice Xiberras became the first party chairman . In 1979 he was replaced by Peter Isola .
The DPBG ran for the first time in the 1980 parliamentary elections and achieved the second-best result. This made it an opposition party and got six seats. In the subsequent elections in 1984, she won no seat and left the Gibraltar House of Assembly . A short time later, the party disbanded.
