Demonoid (demonoid.com, demonoid.me, demonoid.ph, demonoid.pw) is the name and domain of a website and BitTorrent trackers that were connected to the Internet by Deimos and Zajson ( pseudonyms ).

An index of torrent container files could be viewed on the Demonoid website, most of which had previously been uploaded by the users themselves. Demonoid could be called a torrent exchange portal or exchange exchange. In April 2012, Demonoid.me was ranked 441 on Alexa among all sites monitored by Alexa.

Which were hosted services of Demonoid domains last of a Ukrainian ISP , also called ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Attempts have been made to block access to the Demonoids services , depending on applicable copyrights , in some countries or at least to make it more difficult, including in the Federal Republic of Germany. On August 10, 2012, the pages were taken offline. In a concerted action by Ukrainian and Mexican authorities in connection with the IFPI ( International Federation of the Phonographic Industry ) and supported by Interpol , the servers were taken offline.

As of July 9, 2014, the page was again accessible under demonoid.ph and was changed to demonoid.pw in December 2014. In July 2018, Demonoid ceased operations on all domains due to server problems.
