The Monument to Magdeburg Law ( Ukrainian Пам'ятник Магдебурзькому праву Pamjatnyk Mahdeburskomu prawu ) is also called the Monument to the Baptism of the Kievan Rus and is considered the oldest monument in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev .

The monument, built by the architect Andrei Iwanowitsch Melenski between 1802 and 1808, is located in Podil near the Dneprufer and is intended to mark the granting of Magdeburg law under the King of Poland Johann I. Albrecht to the city of Kiev in the period between 1492 and 1497 remember.
