Dennis Bemmann

Dennis Bemmann (* 1978 ) is a German entrepreneur .

Life

Bemmann began studying computer science at the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1999 and founded the German Young Researcher Network - juFORUM eV in 2000, where he was a volunteer member of the board. In 2001 he moved to the Free University of Berlin , where he studied Islamic Studies .

In November 2005 he founded the Internet portal StudiVZ together with Ehssan Dariani , for which Bemmann worked as a software developer and CTO . At the beginning of 2007, both of them sold the online portal for 85 million euros to the Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group .

He then supported young technology companies as an investor with equity and experience. Together with Guido Sandler he founded the Berlin Bergfürst AG; until 2015 he was a member of the board of directors, since then he has been chairman of the supervisory board. Bergfürst is a trading platform on which private investors can invest small amounts in companies in the growth phase.

Bemmann is married. He is fluent in German , English , French , Spanish and Esperanto , among others .
