Department of Physical Culture and Sports at the Government of the Republic of Lithuania
The Department of Physical Culture and Sport at the Government of the Republic of Lithuania ( lit.Kūno kultūros ir sporto departamentas prie Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės , abbreviation KKSD prie LRV ) is the highest authority responsible for sport policy and sports in Lithuania . The authority has the rank of department under the supervision of the Government of Lithuania . The department was established in the place of the previous Committee for Physical Culture and Sport ( Kūno kultūros ir sporto komitetas ) in Soviet Lithuania in April 1990.
