Čelákovice depot

The Čelákovice Depot (also known as the Čelákovice hoard ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Čelákovice in Středočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. The depot is now in the Čelákovice Museum.

Find history

The depot was discovered in 1930 while the road was being built along the railway line from Čelákovice to Jiřina in a pit about 0.5 m deep and filled with sand.

composition

The depot consists of 34 bronze objects: nine arm spirals (all incompletely preserved), twelve complete eyelet neck rings , six fragments of further eyelet neck rings and seven spiral rolls made of wire (some of which are only fragments). The total weight of the finds is 4 kg.
