Hospozín depot

The depot of Hospozín (also Hortfund von Hospozín ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Hospozín in Středočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. The depot is now in the National Museum in Prague .

Find history

The depot was discovered while plowing in a field and in 1886 transferred to the National Museum in Prague. The exact place where it was found is not known.

composition

The depot consists of 19 bronze objects , all of which Tilmann Vachta classifies as eyelet neck rings , while Václav Moucha classifies them as eleven or twelve ring bars and seven eyelet neck rings. The rings have a diameter between 140 mm and 165 mm. Their weight is between 188 g and 219 g.
