Der Anaesthesist is a medical journal in the field of anesthesiology and is published by Springer-Verlag ( Springer Science + Business Media ). The spectrum of the magazine includes anesthesia , intensive care medicine , emergency medicine and pain therapy and is aimed at both resident and clinic anesthetists.
There are two International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN) for the journal , one for the printed and one for the online edition. The anesthetist appears twelve times a year. The online first articles are published before the printed edition and can be searched for and cited using the DOI ( Digital Object Identifier number). The sold edition of the printed version is 4653 pieces.
The journal is published in cooperation with the German Society for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine , the Austrian Society for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine and the Swiss Society for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation .
