The ashpicker is a Georgian fairy tale.

It was made famous in Germany by the Balver Höhle Festival , which performed an arrangement by Wachtang Kuprawa in 1992 as part of the series of fairy tales from all over the world with the participation of the soloists G. Nachutsrischwili and Boris Gamrekeli .

The ashpicker Kikila doesn't think much of the hustle and bustle in the world. He loves to poke the ashes and tell the children the most unlikely stories.
