The German economist

The German economist was an economic policy journal founded by Gustav Stolper and published in Berlin .

In 1926 Gustav Stolper founded the paper “Der Deutschen Volkswirt. Magazine for politics u. Economy ”as an offshoot of the traditional magazine“ Der Österreichische Volkswirt ”and made it one of the high profile business publications of the Weimar Republic for six years .

The magazine was "brought into line" in 1933 . From May 1943 until the end of the war in 1945 it appeared in "Kriegsgemeinschaft" with the economic service as the magazine "Die deutsche Volkswirtschaft".
