action

Madame Anserre is an impulsive and romantic woman. She writes verses and short stories. Her husband is an agronomist. Often the two receptions give, with her and his guests staying in separate rooms. The society of women is called "The Academy", that of the man "Agriculture". At these evening parties it is customary for Ms. Anserre to choose one of the guests to cut the brioche . Once this honor is given to a young newcomer in the group of the "academy". Little does he suspect that this office is connected with a service of love for Ms. Anserre. At the next evening party he looks insecure and, when the brioche is brought in, fled to the "agriculture". Frau Anserre followed him there and asked him to cut the cake. Mr. Anserre replied not to bother her, since one was in a scientific conversation. Since then, no one has cut Ms. Anserre's brioche.
