In Pine Cove, a prehistoric sea monster emerges from its underwater hiding place due to human impact. It can change shape and emits a pheromone that induces uncontrollable lust among Pine Cove residents. After trying to mate with a tank truck by mistake, it hides in a trailer park and arouses the curiosity of former B-movie star Molly Michon, who develops a good relationship with the injured monster.
Meanwhile, police officer Constable Theophilus Crowe is investigating a strange suicide and the activities of its corrupt boss. When the monster begins to eat residents of Pine Cove and interferes in the crystal meth business of Theos Boss, Molly and Theo team up to enable the monster to escape and at the same time bring down the boss.
