The murder (Kafka)

The murder is a story by Franz Kafka published in 1917 . It is the earlier version of the text A Fratricide , which appeared in the volume A Country Doctor .

The lyrics of The Murder and A Fratricide differ only slightly.

Brief description

A man called “Schmar” by Kafka waits in a dark alley with a knife for “Wese” while “Pallas” watches him from a window. When Wese appears, he is stabbed by Schmar; this is discharged.
