Der Polizeibeamte, newspaper of the revolutionary police officers of Prussia, was a Communist newspaper of the KPD for police officers during the Weimar Republic . It first appeared in 1926 and was banned in 1933. KPD newspapers, which were also aimed at police officers, were: The Red Baton, The Red Schupo and Großer Alarm. Issue No. 2 from April 1932 was printed by Reltih & Reneorg, Berlin.

The first edition (No. 1) from March 1930 appeared with an edition of 20,000 copies. Reves was responsible for the content of issue No. 2 from April 1932.
