Derb was a German hard trance project consisting of Kai Winter and Boris Hafner .

Career

Kai Winter and Boris Hafner both had different experiences in the trance scene when they founded the music project Derb in 2001. Kai Winter, who is also known under the pseudonym Kan Cold , was particularly successful with the Hennes & Cold project , which he founded together with Michael Hennes, and Boris Hafner was best known under the pseudonym Global Cee .

In 2001 the duo produced the single "In Africa", which finally came in at number 78 in the German single charts. The follow-up single "Derb" was also very successful in the scene. The duo also worked on numerous remixes, including those of Warmduscher , Kai Tracid and Brooklyn Bounce .

The duo was under contract with Tracid Traxxx , Kai Tracid's music label. The last three singles finally appeared on the Druck label , a sub-label of Tracid Traxxx, which Kai Winter runs together with Scot Project .
