Deshengms

The Beijing Deshengmen City Gate ( Chinese  德胜门 , Pinyin Déshèngmén ) is one of the three surviving of the nine gate systems of the so-called Inner City (Neicheng). The military and defense facility is located on its north side in the Xicheng district . The complex dates from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Construction began in 1439.

The Deshengmen Watchtower (Deshengmen jianlou 德胜门 箭楼; Deshengmen Arrow Tower) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-300) since 2006 .
