Distillation area

The distillation range is a physico-chemical parameter for liquids that is determined in pharmaceutical laboratories and is described in detail in the European Pharmacopoeia . The distillation range is the temperature range corrected to 101.3 kPa (760 Torr), within which the substance to be examined or a certain percentage of it is distilled under conditions described in detail.
