Detective Kim
Detective Kim is a youth book series of the Danish youth book - and thriller author Bengt Janus Nielsen, which he under his pseudonym Jens K. Holm published.

Kim lives as a teenager in the Danish capital Copenhagen . He and his friends Katja, Erik and Palle (nicknamed glasses) are repeatedly involved in criminal cases, in which they help with the investigation. A large part of the books are set in Copenhagen. Others also in the rest of Denmark or in neighboring countries. They act as detectives to solve the cases.
Emergence
Jens K. Holm wrote the books between 1957 and 1973. In Germany, however, they were only published by Bertelsmann -Jugendbuchverlag from 1971 .
filming
Based on this book series, the British-German-Austrian-French youth television series Kim & Co. was filmed in 1974. It was first broadcast in Germany from October 1975. It comprises two seasons of 13 episodes each. Glasses were renamed Brillo for this.
