Detlef Bluemler
Detlef Bluemler (* 1944 ) is a German art critic.
Life
Detlef Bluemler studied general literature, philosophy and the history of art and architecture in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Zurich. He initially worked as a literary and theater critic, then as a cultural journalist.
Together with Lothar Romain he was the founding editor of Künstler - Kritisches Lexikon der Gegenwartskunst ; Both developed this in 1986/1987 and brought out the monograph series in lexicon form from February 1988. Bluemler has been the sole editor since Romain's death on July 14, 2005.
In addition, he was the founder, publisher and responsible editor of Laubacher Feuilleton (1990 to 1996) and shorthand. For those who love longhand .
