The German Bank Research , also DB Research , is one of the Deutsche Bank AG related research institution . It serves her financial institution as a think tank and event and publication platform for evaluating economic, socio-political trends and the financial markets. According to its own information, DB Research is used to "monitor the environment for Deutsche Bank".

Self-imposed content-related objectives are: Asia, growth policy Germany, demographic change, keyword: old-age provision and effects on capital markets, digital economy, energy and climate change, European integration and globalization.

The head of the facility is David Folkerts-Landau (also Chief Economist of the Deutsche Bank Group).

The research institution is a member of the European Movement Germany network .

In the course of the extensive job cuts, Deutsche Bank and the works council decided to close DB Research.
