German Barista Championship
At the German Barista Championship (DBC) the best barists in Germany compete in the preparation of espresso drinks.
The challenge for the participants is to prepare four espressos , four cappuccini and four so-called signature drinks (their own creations) within 15 minutes . These are judged by four taste judges, two technical judges and a main judge based on taste, appearance, technique and overall impression. The winner of the German Barista Championship is entitled to participate in the World Barista Championship (WBC).
