Anna Smolik (born October 3, 1928 in Vienna ) is an Austrian , former actress .

Life

Anna Smolik completed her acting training with Maria Eis and Gisela Wilke . At the same time, she took ballet lessons. From 1945 she appeared at the Landestheater in Linz and at the Vienna Burgtheater . Later engagements took her to Innsbruck ( Tiroler Landestheater ), Baden-Baden ( Theater Baden-Baden ), Karlsruhe ( Badisches Staatstheater ) and Cologne ( stages of the city of Cologne ). In 1964 she played in the play Jedermann die Buhlschaft at the Salzburg Festival . In addition to her theatrical work, she occasionally accepted offers in film and television. In 1959 she was seen in the homeland film And Forever Sing the Forests as the spoiled and snooty aristocratic daughter Elisabeth von Gall , which was shot in Norway .

In 1964 she married the actor Benno Hoffmann (1919–2005), with whom she appeared in the three-part crime series The Keys . In the early 1970s, she withdrew into private life.
