from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Farmers' Party (DBP) was an agricultural interest party for small and medium-sized farmers that existed from 1928 to 1933. It was mainly supported by circles of the German peasantry , the umbrella organization of such associations. Leading the way were two associations from Bavaria and Silesia, the Bavarian Farmers 'Union and the Silesian Farmers' Union , which provided all members of the Reichstag from this party.

The German Peasant Party achieved 1.56% of the vote in the 1928 Reich elections and with this result won eight seats in the German Reichstag.
