The German war cemetery Asfeld (French: Cimetière militaire allemand d'Asfeld ) is located in the French commune of Asfeld in the Ardennes department . The cemetery was laid out in 1917.

The memorial plaque reads in French and German: "5376 German soldiers are resting in this cemetery 1914 - 1918"

The eight graves of the soldiers of the Jewish faith received a stele made of natural stone instead of the cross.

The oldest fallen war volunteer in the German army, Lieutenant dR Caspar René Gregory , who at the age of 70 as head of a grave management command lost his life by a grenade while rescuing fallen soldiers, is buried in the cemetery.
