German war cemetery Sebesh: steles with the names of the identified dead

The cemetery was inaugurated on September 8, 2007. From a parking lot it goes through a covered entrance along a granite-paved path. This leads to a metal high cross. There is a pond in the area. The grave blocks are marked with symbol cross groups. There are natural stone steles on the grave blocks. On these, the names of the 11,205 (as of 2012) identified dead are listed alphabetically. The dead that cannot be recovered are listed in a memorial name book. By the end of 2012, 29,600 dead had been buried.
