The German School Belgrade ( DSB ) is the only German school abroad in Serbia . She looks after and teaches children from kindergarten through 12th grade. The goal of the Abitur was achieved in the 2011/2012 school year.
The school was founded in 1854 with 23 students. The current headmaster is Ralf Naeve and there are 31 teachers at the school.
The lessons are held in German . There are also classes in the subjects Serbian as a mother tongue and Serbian as a foreign language.
Since September 30, 2013, the primary and secondary schools have been located in a renovated building on Petra Čajkovskog Street. In addition to ginkgo trees and maple trees, there are also two mulberry trees on the site.
